Precision (Fuzzy tolerance)

Minimum distance between vertices. Must be a small, practically infinitesimal, value.

Indicate: Precision

ArcInfo: The fuzzy tolerance of a coverage is the minimum distance between arc coordinates in the coverage.

Pseudo-generalisation tolerance

Tolerance for eliminating vertices lying on the same straight line (a local definition for each arc).

Indicate: Pseudo-generalisation

Arc snap tolerance

Distance that a vertex can be moved, or a segment split, to generate a new vertex connected to another segment (implies a relation between one arc and the rest).

Indicate: Arc snap

Undershoot tolerance

Distance that a final node can be moved to connect with an arc. The movement of the node is done in such a way that the displacement is minimal (implies a relation between the final node and the arcs).

Indicate: Undershoot

Node snap tolerance

Minimum distance between two nodes. The distance at which a node absorbs, or is absorbed by, it neighbours (implies a relation between one node and the rest).

Indicate: NodeSnap

Dangle tolerance

Arcs shorter than this tolerance are deleted if they have one or two final nodes (a local definition for a single arc).

Indicate Dangle
