Miscellanea

All the non-integer quantities will be expressed with decimal point, not with comma, regardless of the specifications of your operating system.

MiraMon includes several color symbolization tables. Some of these are:

  • Grey scale symbolization tables.
    • CGREY256.dbf (old GREY256.P25)
    • CGREY16.dbf (old GREY16.P25)
  • Color symbolization tables for digital elevation models and other maps with continuous variables.
    • CDEM256.dbf (old DEM256.P25)
    • CDEM16.dbf (old DEM16.P25)
    • CISO256.dbf (old ISO256.P25)
    • CNDVI256.dbf (old NDVI256.P25)
    • CTEMPERA.dbf (old TEMPERAT256.P25)
    • CIDRISI.dbf (old IDRISI.P25)
    • CSHAD256.dbf (old OMBRA256.P25)
  • Color symbolization tables for categorical maps.
    • CIBM.dbf (old IBM.P25)
    • CDIGIT256.dbf (old DIGIT256.P25)
    • CTHEMATI.dbf (old TEMATIC.P25)
  • Special Color symbolization tables.
    • CKOMPOSI.dbf (old KOMPOSIT.P25). This color symbolization table is useful for RGB color composites which have been created with the COMPOSIT module of Idrisi.
    • CAUTOCAD.dbf (old AUTOCAD.P25). This color symbolization table is useful for files coming from AutoCAD.

Notes:

- If you need any of these color symbolization tables files in PAL format (Idrisi for DOS) simply open the raster file 256c.img with the desired color symbolization table and export it to PAL format through "File | Save palette or symbolization table".
- The CMDE256 color palette (qualitative raster) or the CTEMATIC.dbf palette (categorical raster) is loaded as an automatic palette if a palette is not selected.
- Do not use the "Animated cursors" of Windows: they slow too much more computer processes, and particularly the display.
