VECCOR: Transformation of point VEC files to COR files used by CorrGeom
This program transforms VEC files of point to the working format of CorrGeom program. There are two options:
VECCOR 2D:
This option transforms VEC point files to COR format without incorporating heights.
VECCOR 3D:
This option transforms VEC point files to COR format incorporating heights extracted from a Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
VEC input format is a standard ASCII vector file with the particularity
that the point attribute is the final map coordinate with the values
separated by a comma (without any blank spaces) and the point coordinate is
the coordinate in the original reference system (not corrected).
The program also allows, in the mode 2, the existence of a point label,
that will be written after the map coordinates x,y separated by a comma
(without any blank spaces) in the following way: x,y,label.
Note: The comma ',' is always used as separator while the point
'.' is used to indicate the decimal values.
COR format has been specifically designed for the CorrGeom program. At
this moment, the conversion generates a simplified version that is described
below:
- COR file is an ASCII file that has in its first line the number of
points and, in the following lines, the couple composed by the couple of
original (non corrected) coordinates and the couple of final (map)
coordinates, all four values being separated by spaces.
Example of input VEC file of points:
446000,4612000 1
1674.500000 1801.500000
447000,4613000,Tree 1
1677.000000 1378.866666
448000,4614000 1
1679.500000 853.433333
0 0
Example of output COR file:
3
1674.500000 1801.500000 446000 4612000 428.7
1677.000000 1378.866666 447000 4613000 541.4 Arbre
1679.500000 853.433333 448000 4614000 896.1
In the option 2, where the application generates a COR file with elevations,
the user has to set the interpolation method for obtaining elevation from
DEM: nearest neighbour, bilinear interpolation or bicubic interpolation.
Syntax:
- VECCOR 1 NomFitxerVEC NomFitxerCOR [/SRH_COORD_VEC] [/SRH_COORD_COR]
- VECCOR 2 NomFitxerVEC NomFitxerCOR NomFitxerMDE ModeInterpol [/UNITATSXY] [/SRH_COORD_VEC]
Options:
- 1:
Conversion from VEC format to COR format without heights.
- 2:
Conversion from VEC format to COR format with heights extracted from a Digital Elevation Model (DEM).
Parameters:
- NomFitxerVEC (Input parameter): Input file containing the ground control points in VEC format.
- NomFitxerCOR (Output parameter): Output file containing the ground control points in COR format.
- NomFitxerMDE (Input parameter): IMG file containing the Digital Elevation Model of the region of interest (only option 2).
- ModeInterpol
(Interpolation mode -
Input parameter):
- 0: Nearest neighbour
- 1: Bilinear interpolation
- 2: Bicubic interpolation
Modifiers:
/SRH_COORD_COR=
(Output reference system)
Destination reference system of the points in the COR file. (Input parameter) /UNITATSXY=
(XY units)
Units of the VEC file attribute, corresponding to coordinates in the output horizontal reference system, usually m (only option 2). (Input parameter) /SRH_COORD_VEC= (Input reference system) Reference system of the coordinates in the VEC file attribute. If not specified, no transformation is applied and the same reference system is assumed. (Input parameter)
