This application allows the import of files in the internal raster format of the Zebra software to the format of MiraMon. This format is used principally for satellite and radar images in the meteorological field.
For more information on the specifications of this format go to: https://www.eol.ucar.edu/software-center

Although the MiraMon raster format requires the same resolution in both dimensions and, therefore, squared pixels, the program allows importing RF rasters with non-squared pixels. In this case a bilinear geometric correction is performed to resample the original data to a net of equally spaced square pixels with the side equal to the smaller of the two dimensions of the original.

The program also allows the original raster to be transformed geometrically to a chosen reference system. In this case it is necessary to identify the original reference system from amongst those reference systems supported by MiraMon, and to choose the output system for reprojection.
It is also possible to choose not to reproject, and the program will document as the reference system of the output raster that system that is the default used by the Zebra software. This is an equidistant cylindrical projection in a spherical model; the center can be defined in the users geodesic tables.

This version does not support multiband input rasters. If the same raster can be obtained in GrADS format then this can be correctly imported with all the channels to MiraMon format using the application GrADSIMG.
